Down > 36 hours in NY. No restoration info is available on their firstlight.net website. In fact they make no mention at all of their extensive outage! Service and communication is certainly not their strongpoints. I've had more trouble with FirstLight since they acquired BestWeb five months ago than I had with my twenty (20) years of prior service with BestWeb.ðŸ¤ðŸ¤
Finally got someone on the phone after being on hold a long while, of course I was told no information is available. Since I have only one email address and it is a "worldpath.net" address, and I use it for my small home based business, I am trying to find out how I can get email through another company and still keep the same address. The person I spoke to could not help me with that. This is very frustrating as I have no other way to connect with my customers.
