Just extract the script in Automator. It was designed as a CLI first.

Does SearchLink support Google Image search? It would be amazing to be able to enter search terms and get SearchLink to automatically add Markdown images inline.

It would be easy enough to add, but image results are pretty unpredictable and you'd have to check each one, which would generally mean a trip to the browser anyway… (or at least http://brettterpstra.com/pr... )

Does anyone know of a way to make SearchLink work with the Atom text editor? The only services I see when using Atom are a few of the browser related markdown services (from your markdown pack)...

Sorry no one ever replied to this. Atom doesn't use a Cocoa text field, and text services won't show up there. You'd have to convert the script to an Atom plugin.
