The “Domain Fencing” feature is new, too, and something I haven’t seen implemented anywhere else before.

Don't want to sound pedantic, but, I think, OS X's Mail.app has this for a few years now, no? It's under Settings -> Composing -> Addressing.

Yeah, I was corrected on that somewhere else as well. The sentiment "I haven't seen" is honest, though… :)

Absolutely. To be fair, Postbox's implementation is also more configurable. It's a per-account setting rather than a global one like in Mail.app.
