Bought the [iPad app](http://itunes.apple.com/au/... "Just a clean link to the iTunes Store") a while back - Fantastic!
Would love an iPhone variant. Diet Coda is doing some interesting things but no offline file support and nowhere near the cavalcade of languages supported by Textastic. Having another [Markdown](http://daringfireball.net/p... "Markdown by John Gruber") supported app is always welcome.

Not sure if it's will be productive on small screen, but I don't have an iPad, so count me in!! Cheers.

I guess I can wait until Monday to buy it.

I've been using Multimarkdown as the lingua Franca for all my documents. Textastic is one of the few editors that supports definition lists and tables. Does it also parse html5 tags? When I get my copy, I might even come back here and let you know...

I've been waiting for this app a long time. In my iPhone I had to use Gusto but is very buggy. I'm using Textastic in my iPad now and I hope to use it in my iPhone soon. Also I would love to check out a Mac version —currently using Sublime Text 2—.

Great app. I've been using it for a while on my iPad as my #1 code/latex input client.

I can only speak for the iPad version, but it's absolutely useful - even for just some plain text editing. Love the RegEx capabilities.
