In situations where a PPPC profile is used to whitelist an app for accessbility, adding in an AppleEvent that allows X app to control System Preferences helps with this issue. Users manually approving an accessibility app can do the same by adding an AppleEvent exception to the Automation category, but if you’re in a corporate environment that’s managed with MDM, adding that extra bit in your profile cuts down on accessbility apps “losing” functionality or otherwise not working as expected even though X app is whitelisted.
