I'm rather disappointed by the new version. 'Selective sync' in particular is rather ugly with the file extensions used. And there is still no real access control or user management. For a single user, it remains a great, in an enterprise environment, not soo much, AeroFS is probably a better choice for such use. On the other hand, BTSync has still the strength that you can sync any folder and not just folders within a pre-defined main folder (like AeroFS or Dropbox).
The Synology version is disappointing too: It's not a signed (and therefore trusted) package but a manual install of an unsigned package, so without automatic updates. I didn't get it to work, it got stuck after I had entered the key of another BTSync client … in addition, a server version is still not available for OS X, i.e., only logged in users can use BTSync.
@kOoLiNuS: It's 10 folders including all sub-folders.
