Hi,

Thank you for this. Have been looking for this exact thing for a while. I'm not sophisticated with the terminal, so when I attempt to do the above steps, I get the following error messages:

./onsetapp.rb: line 1: {rtf1ansiansicpg1252cocoartf2709: command not found ./onsetapp.rb: line 2: syntax error near unexpected token }' ./onsetapp.rb: line 2:\cocoatextscaling0\cocoaplatform0{\fonttbl\f0\fmodern\fcharset0 Courier;}'

Any thoughts or assistance greatly appreciated. Thank you.

But isn't it better having the apps installed and bought without setapp, and give developers 100% instead of only a little cut ?

If you already own the app, you paid once for it, but using the Setapp version instead means that every time you launch it, you're giving an additional cut to the developer. If you only use the direct version when you also have the Setapp version, you're denying any additional income to the developer.
