Thanks for the great insight. Too bad XML-RPC for wordpress is not documented as much as we would like it to be.

I feel like this set me on the right track but I am still having problems with posting to a custom post type.

Once I add the "post_type" I get this error from the server: "Invalid Post Type"

The post type is there 100%, I've even tried both the plurar and singular names for it and still no luck.

Do you have any suggestions? I would really appreciate your help and another push in the right direction.
