In terms of features, I'd strongly recommend including both word and char count in the standard section. While some personal bloggers don't care about such features, it's absolutely instrumental to the majority of jobbing journos. From my point of view, any text editor lacking both a word and char count (or a single count that can easily be switched) is totally worthless, regardless of any other features it has. (Note: even though the web has infinite space, most publications will commission on the basis of minimums. Writers need to know where they are at any given time—there's little point in smashing out 3000 words for a 500-word commission and then having to edit down like a crazy person.)

Question about the 'Open in...' row: does this mean the app in question is listed when you choose 'open in' from Dropbox?

I intended it to mean that the app provides an Open in... menu for sending notes/docs to other apps. Most do, some don't.
