This is very neat but the "why" is still an open question to me. I just don't take web clippings terribly often, if ever.

But. I do have years of documents in rtf and doc files, and I'd like to take those and convert them to markdown. And I can use this tool to do that, I just have to export them as HTML, put that in my public dropbox folder, then run it through this. And then it's genuinely useful, not just neat.
