Hi Sven, it's a great article. I'm digging inside this device, I supposed you leaved this project (the article is from long long ago).

Googling about RT6 I find your article. I acquired a Peugeot 408 with the RT6 inside it. Everything you wrote here is correct, all the bugs (like the map hysteresis in navigation) and lags. As a software developer I started my efforts to modify the current firmware.

And searching for VxWorks/RT6/WindRiver etc., I get a complete VxWorks linux environment from the ESO (European Southern Observatory), I guess it could help me to modify the current firmware inside the RT6. I'm trying to recreate the environment to make it possible, obvioulsy without the source files I must to decomplile the entire firmware to recreate it trying to not bricking the device. It's hard to do, I know.

Bonsoir, Suite à un problème d'écran noir sur mon 3008 de 2015 (génération 2), j'ai changé la carte SD et j'ai rebooté le système avec un CDROM acheté sur Ebay. La réparation et l'installation se sont, à priori, bien passées mais la langue n'est pas le Français mais une langue d'un pays de l'est difficile à déchiffrer. Est-il possible de revenir au Français ou dois-je rebooter le système avec un autre CDROM. Merci d'avance pour vos éléments de réponses. Cordialement
