I've been using Jekyll Asset Pipeline https://github.com/matthoda... for compression and versioning, but I'll probably have to go and break it now to play with this :-)
Very nice solution. With the resources now having unique names, Jekyll/Octopress users can take it a step further and set a far-future expires header for all of these static assets (.js, .css, etc.). In fact I see that you're already doing so on this site!
