And don't forget about WeathrClip, a nice little app that runs in the menu bar to provide current conditions, forecast, and animated radar https://itunes.apple.com/us...

Thank you for the recommendations. Do you have a suggestion for a Journaling program?

Would love to see a post about the way your use Curio 8. I just picked it up myself and I'm loving it!

Me too. I had a brief look at Curio a while back. Seemed like a behemoth, but intriguing.

So good to see Curio on the list. Some days I think I'm the only one using it. It's gotten very good recently, as you said.

I haven’t used Sublime Text 2, so I’m curious as to whether you consider it more powerful and flexible than Emacs and Vim. If so, that’s very impressive, given the age difference.

Given that emacs is so close to being self-hosting, I don't think it's even theoretically possible for a text editor to be more powerful. Sublime Text has a nice API, and that it's python is a real bonus, but even the fact of having "an API" makes it intrinsically less powerful than emacs. That's not to say that it's worse, as only a handful of diehard unixy types are ever going to spend the time to learn to use emacs to its fullest, whereas Sublime Text is lovely to use out of the box (which you couldn't say of emacs), has great package management, and is easy to extend. Very much worth trying if you haven't.

What is it about Sublime Text that's inspiring you to learn Python? Plugin development?
