This blanket disabling of an Outlook feature has a direct major impact on scientific and engineering users making the use of Outlook past 3-5 lines untenable, and so opening up an email to read enough to see whom it is from, and causing every email to be opened up to see usable contents used throughout the USG and DoD and industrial communities.

This vulnerability is evidence that the vulnerability was not evaluated using the same processes that we use for NSS and weigh usability, effectiveness and performance over that of Cybersecurity. In the real world, one accepts certain risks for performance, so why not in this case that actually is putting the probability of opening a plishing email more not less likely. The purpose of IS is for work, and not an end item to itself.
