It did, once I got the require 'rss' bit to work within a Rakefile.

Nice! …now if we could just get the makers of Mastodon software, and everyone else supporting Activity Pub to acknowledge the beloved BLOCKQUOTE tags in HTML, with some markup… :) https://github.com/mastodon/mastodon/issues/15311
