I am a longtime user of Notational Velocity and more recently of nvALT, this sounds like a nice addition to the iOS family. Obviously Dropbox support would be an added bonus, hopefully that will be added soon.
I guess an alterative to dropbox/simplenote sync is for notational velocity/nvalt to introduce icloud sync? maybe... I'm out of my depth so this is just a thought.
There sure does need to be a way for this app to talk to nvAlt, sooner than later. It has to be exceptionally good to move me off an app that already talks to nvAlt.
I've been looking for a while to a nvALT-like app for the iOS, but couldn't find one. nvNotes was in my list for the time Dropbox sync will be added. I'm trying to avoid creating notes in every application that looks interesting just to realize later that I have no idea where my notes are.
The GTD features sound a lot like my plain-text GTD system, which uses NV and Simplenote. I'd be interested in trying this out, but hope Dropbox sync will be added.

With DropBox sync it looks promising.
The lack of Dropbox syncing is a killer currently, but once they have that it looks like it might be a worthy companion to nvALT.
